Program Description
This session focuses on medical necessity justification, determining the need for hospital level of care, documentation and supportive physician notes, co-morbid capture, and assigning rehab impairment groups.
Learning Objectives
At the completion of this program, the participating will be able to:

Identify patients who need hospital level of care to support admission criteria.
- Identify co-morbid conditions that require medical interventions and justify length of stay and reimbursement.

Allison Scheetz, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, Mercer University School of Medicine, and Medical Director, Central Georgia Rehab Hospital
Allison Scheetz, MD, has been medical director for Central Georgia Rehab Hospital (CGRH) since 202 and on staff since 1995. In her role, Scheetz has been actively involved with CMS compliance, medical necessity, and co-morbid conditions. The staff at CGRH has kept the compliance well above the 60% rule and the CMI has also been well above the national average.

How the Webinar Will Work

Substitution, Transfer and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received in writing up to five business days prior to an event will be given a full refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than five business days prior and day-of-program no-shows. Substitutions are accepted.
