Databank

www.databank.org

Understanding and tracking health care trends is an important part of both benchmarking individual hospital performance, and identifying areas of focus in the advocacy arena. It is for these reasons that the Wisconsin Hospital Association adopted the Databank system, a Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) product, for collecting current financial and utilization data.

The Databank Internet system allows participating hospitals to enter their data online anytime. Once their data is in the system, they can run several different types of reports that show trends and compare their results with other peer groups. The information is also used by WHA as a current database to identify areas of concern on the advocacy front.

WHA would like to encourage those of you who dont participate to try Databank. There is no cost to participate and the online system is easy to use.

If you are interested in participating in Databank or have any questions about the data, the online system, or how to customize the data for your specific needs, contact Leah Andaverde at 608/274-1820 or email landaverde@wha.org
