Originally called the WHA Shared Services Program, then transitioning through the names Primary Resources and WHA Financial Solutions, ISG Advisors was formed by the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) in 1981 to close existing gaps in the market place and help WHA better serve its members. By the late 1980s, they had become a full-service program provider offering employee benefits, retirement services, insurance coverage, management services, and information products.
As LMC Insurance & Risk Management today, they are no longer owned by WHA; however they continue to be a strong supporter of the association. As WHA's Premier Partner, ISG contributes non-dues revenue to WHA that supports the association’s efforts and benefits all Wisconsin hospitals.
