WHA Information Center WIpop 2008 Training Sessions

Dear Data Contacts:

WHA Information Center will again conduct annual training sessions related to the WIpop data submission and editing process. Our focus this year will be on changes in the record layout and data definitions due to the implementation of the UB04, changes in the race and ethnicity definitions to coincide with definitions at the federal level, and Present on Admission (POA). There will be ample time to ask questions if the issue(s) you are concerned about are not addressed during the presentation.

The five sessions will be held at five different locations and will run from 9 am -12 pm. Registration will begin at 8:30 am and a continental breakfast will be available.

Register for the sessions below. As in the past, there is no registration fee. Please click on the link for the session you would like to attend and submit your completed registration form via the Internet. There is no limit as to the number of individuals per facility who may attend, however it would be helpful to have all registration forms in by October 10 so we can ensure adequate accommodations. Each form can accept four online registrants, so if you have more than that attending, you will need to submit multiple online forms.
