This presentation will provide an overview for combating the opioid epidemic. Topics addressed include decreased opioid prescribing, alternatives to opioids, harm reduction (i.e. naloxone) and medication assisted treatment. The content is built off of the CDC guidelines addressing person-centered practices and reducing the risk of OUD, overdose and death.
