THE VALUED VOICE

U.S. Representative Gwen Moore recently visited Columbia St. Mary’s Columbia College of Nursing (CCON) in the Milwaukee area. During her time at CCON, Rep. Moore was able to see the laboratory, telemedicine capabilities, patient simulations and the classroom setting. 

Rep. Moore has been active on legislation addressing contradictory federal requirements with which CCON must comply. That legislation is known as the MEND Act, H.R. 1784 and S. 629. WHA also supports this legislation.
