As we enjoy the last few weeks of summer, we are also in the middle of CMS payment rule season as it continues to release the 2020 Medicare proposed and final prospective payment system (PPS) rules for hospital-based services ranging from inpatient and outpatient, to home health, psychiatric, rehab and skilled nursing facility (SNF) services.
