Register Now for Oct. 30 WHA Data Collection/Quality Reporting Seminar

The Wisconsin Hospital Association Information Center (WHAIC) and the WHA Quality Improvement and Performance Team would like to remind you to register for our full-day conference October 30, 2019, in Wisconsin Dells. Our goal is to share the importance of your role in the accuracy and integrity of data submission and the multiple ways your data is used.

Eric Borgerding, WHA president and CEO, will open the morning with an update on the current state of health care in Wisconsin. Beth Dibbert, WHA chief quality officer, will present an essential discussion related to health equity, diversity and inclusion, including the reporting of accurate REaL data (Race, Ethnicity and Language). The remainder of the day will be filled with educational and thought-provoking breakout sessions that includes the importance of improving the quality data by adding ICD-10 Z-status codes, discharge data submissions, major improvements made to the annual survey process, as well as sessions on KAAVIO – how to use it and how we can improve.
