Substance Use Disorders Management Mini Boot Camp, Feb. 2

Please join us for a Substance Use Disorders Management Mini Boot Camp training on Feb. 2. This training aims to enhance confidence and competencies related to the management of substance use disorders in general medical settings. Through case-based and interactive didactic content, the workshop will explore issues related to assessment, monitoring, prevention, and management in the setting of unhealthy substance use.
 
  • Who: Intended for clinicians in primary care and outpatient settings who wish to expand knowledge related to the medical management of opioid and alcohol use disorders
  • When: February 2, 2024

This training will provide 5.5 hours of CME fulfilling the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act, requirement for new or renewing Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registrants, as of June 27, 2023, to have completed a total of at least eight hours of training on opioid or other substance use disorders.
 
This training is offered at no cost to you. Funding for this project is provided by the UW School of Medicine and Public Health from the Wisconsin Partnership Program.
