CMS Hospital Price Transparency Webinar – Register Today

Hall, Render, Killian, Health & Lyman, P.C., in partnership with the Wisconsin Hospital Association, announce the webinar CMS Overhauls Hospital Price Transparency Rule: Key Takeaways and Action Steps. This virtual event will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 12 from 11 - 11:30 a.m. CST.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized significant updates to the Hospital Price Transparency regulation for the first time since the rule took effect on January 1, 2021. The changes include a new requirement that all hospital machine-readable files must now comply with a CMS template, a new estimated allowed amount requirement, website posting requirements, a mandatory compliance statement and monitoring and enforcement updates. Some of the changes take effect as soon as Jan. 1, 2024, with others taking effect on July 1, 2024, and Jan. 1, 2025.

The changes affect nearly every hospital in the country and necessitate updates, modifications, and in some cases complete overhauls, to existing hospital price transparency files. Join WHA Gold level Corporate Member Hall Render as their attorneys Ben Fee and Lori Wink discuss the new requirements and actions providers should take now during this 30-minute webinar.
