WIpop Virtual Training: Session 3

WIpop Training is offered annually to help facilities understand the statutory requirements for submitting discharge data to the WHA Information Center. The training provides an overview of the data collected, reporting requirements, and recent changes to data collection, including race and ethnicity, payer reporting, and other related updates. Participants will also have the opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, and gain practical guidance for meeting WIpop reporting requirements.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

Understand how discharge data is submitted to WIpop.
Review the step-by-step submission process.
Learn about new data collection initiatives, including changes to payer, race, and demographic reporting.
Explore updates to the newly designed WIpop website, including new login options and edit functionality changes.
Recognize how the WHA Information Center uses the data provided.
