Kari Hofer

Senior Vice President, External Affairs & Member Engagement

Kari Hofer joined the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) in February 2018 as the Vice President of Advocacy and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Member Engagement. In this role, she leads WHA’s external affairs and member engagement strategy, overseeing strategic communication, political advocacy and outreach initiatives that inform, engage, and mobilize WHA members and stakeholders across Wisconsin. Before joining WHA, Kari spent a decade fundraising for various political campaigns and committees. She previously served as Executive Director of the WMC Foundation, a nonprofit entity of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2015.
