Abbey Rude

Vice President, Government Relations

Abbey Rude joins WHA as Vice President of Government Relations with primary responsibilities over day-to-day lobbying with state lawmakers. During her time within state government, Rude was the lead health care policy staff for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) – the longest-serving speaker in Wisconsin history. Rude has over a decade of legislative staff experience and, until recently, lobbied for a statewide health insurance trade association. Rude holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also an alumna of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL).
