An apprenticeship is a career pathway that provides paid on-the-job training and paid classroom education in a new field. Upon completion of the required hours for both components, apprentices receive a nationally recognized industry-credential. Aurora Health Care offers a variety of apprenticeship programs across the organization. Previous trade program focus area examples included culinary, surgical technology, and facilities maintenance Apprenticeship program. By offering this type of training, we aim to enhance our community’s workforce, ensuring program participants receive the necessary training, development, and continuing education to excel in their roles and maximize their career pathways. Aurora Medical Center – Grafton participated in the 2024 apprenticeship program. The leadership team celebrated program participants with a graduation ceremony following their program completion.
