An Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Landmark Initiative – Health Workforce Well-Being
Rising patient complexity, and an aging population are demographic factors largely beyond the state’s control, that will continue to increase health care demand and stress on the health care workforce for decades to come. This creates a greater urgency to identify and address factors that state agencies, health care credentialing bodies, health care employers and health care professionals can impact.
The Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) is partnering on a transformative five-year initiative to strengthen health workforce well-being across the state. Through resources, tools, and training, WHA will support members and stakeholders in building and sustaining effective well-being programs.
Our Vision
To make Wisconsin the best destination for our health workforce to thrive—because a thriving health workforce creates better health outcomes for all.
