Last Chance to Register for March 20 Advocacy Day!

Advocacy Day is right around the corner with less than a week until nearly 1,000 grassroots advocates gather in Madison for a day of learning and advocating on important health care issues facing our state. 

This year's event will be held at the Monona Terrace in Madison on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, and will feature Rick Pollack, President and CEO of the American Hospital Association, for a moderated discussion with WHA President and CEO Eric Borgerding. Additionally, WHA will have an outstanding bipartisan legislative panel with Representative Robin Vos, Representative Greta Neubauer, Senator Devin LeMahieu and Senator Dianne Hesselbein.

There's still time to register. Are you registered yet? There is no cost to attend Advocacy Day, but pre-registration is required. Please note that online registration will be open until March 15 at 5 p.m. After that, please email WHA's Maria Stuessy.

Don't Forget to Sign Up for Legislative Visits!

Legislative visits are an opportunity to directly connect with your state lawmakers on health care issues and share your experiences in your hospital or health system.

• All visits will be in person. WHA staff will schedule your legislative visit jointly with your State Senator and State Representative, based on your home address. You will attend with other constituents of your home district.
• Meetings will last approximately 30 minutes and are scheduled for 2:15-2:45 p.m. and 3-3:30 p.m. on March 20.
