Earlier this month, leaders from the state's health and insurance agencies, and health coverage navigation experts, shared timely updates on upcoming Medicaid and Health Insurance Marketplace eligibility and coverage changes during Covering Wisconsin's 2026 Health Insurance Enrollment Conference, sponsored by WHA and other health care organizations.

The target audience for the information shared at the three-day virtual conference included hospital patient financial counselors, community health workers, enrollment assisters and other professionals who help individuals and families navigate their health coverage options.

Recordings of all conference sessions, along with presentation materials, are now available on the Covering Wisconsin website.

According to its website, Covering Wisconsin is a free statewide program affiliated with the University of Wisconsin–Madison that assists Wisconsin residents in seeking affordable health insurance coverage, including help with enrollment, renewal and understanding coverage options.
