Grassroots Spotlight: Bergmann Testifies at JFC Hearing in Kaukauna
Ascension Wisconsin St. Elizabeth’s Hospital President Mike Bergmann testifies in front of the Joint Finance Committee during an April 2, 2025 public hearing on the state budget in Kaukauna. Bergmann asked the Committee to improve hospital Medicaid reimbursement in the upcoming budget, as Ascension Wisconsin’s Medicaid losses amounted to $196 million in 2024 while demand for care continues to increase.
