The bipartisan Wisconsin Senate and Assembly health committee chairs and co-chairs have invited their peers in the Legislature to attend a virtual briefing by WHA on Wisconsin’s Health Care Workforce on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 10 – 11:15 a.m.
As WHA members know, the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) produces an annual workforce report that has become a relied-upon guide for public policymakers and industry stakeholders. WHA's 2026 Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Report includes recommendations for health care employers, educators and public policymakers on how they can best support a health care workforce that meets the needs of patients in Wisconsin. The briefing for legislators and their staff is an opportunity for WHA and WHA members to thank the Legislature for their partnership, to inform state policymakers of the challenges hospitals, health systems and their workforce face, to let them know about the work being undertaken to address these challenges, and to ask for their partnership in advancing good health care policy that sustains the health care workforce and Wisconsin’s top-notch health care.
WHA invites members to attend this virtual briefing on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 10 – 11:15 a.m. Registration is required.
