High ethical standards are critical in a health care environment. Whether working as a physician, clinician or other health care administration role, moral decision-making must be applied to health care practices and policies. Led by UW CPED Instructor and health care executive Jennifer M. Olson, MBA, these emerging issues in health care ethics will be explored during the Understanding Values, Navigating Ethical Issues, and Incorporating the Inclusion and AI Imperatives in Health Care module as part of the 2027 WHA Health Care Leadership Academy. The goal of this class is to best prepare for the future of health care.

The 2027 WHA Health Care Leadership Academy is designed for clinician and non-clinician staff and is targeted toward two groups of people within WHA member hospitals:

• Leadership staff who aspire to be promoted into the C-Suite
• Newer C-suite leaders who want to continue to be promoted within the hospital
