Molly Wiegel joined WHA as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Operating Officer in September 2024. Her primary responsibilities include leading, implementing and executing strategies and programs to ensure WHA is positioned for fiscal sustainability in the changing health care and regulatory environment. Wiegel comes to WHA after spending over a decade in hospital finance, operations and reimbursement consulting roles. She began her healthcare career in accounting at Southwest Health, then joined Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County to serve as Finance Manager and eventually Chief Operating Officer for four years overseeing all facets of operations including human resources, facilities, marketing and communications, information technology and finance. Most recently, Wiegel worked as a senior consultant at Wiplfli, providing Medicaid reimbursement consulting services to Federally Qualified Health Centers in California.

Jon Hoelter joined the Wisconsin Hospital Association in February of 2018. He serves as WHA’s lead on federal lobbying and also assists on a variety of state lobbying efforts. Jon began his career in the state Legislature working for State Representative Mary Williams from Medford. He managed two of her successful re-election efforts. Jon then helped Sean Duffy get elected to Congress and worked in his D.C. office as a legislative assistant with a wide issue portfolio, including health care issues. He then worked in Governor Walker’s office as a senior policy advisor in health care, insurance, and other issues. Most recently prior to joining WHA he served as the legislative advisor to Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services. Jon is a graduate of UW-Madison.

Joe Wisniewski serves as the AVP of Channel Partnerships & Gov't Affairs at Turquoise Health. As one of Turquoise's first employees, Joe has helped hospitals comply with pricing transparency mandates since their launch in 2021. He manages Turquoise's efforts in DC, focusing on passing pricing transparency legislation and increasing enforcement of the No Surprises Act. 
 

Paul Traczek is a certified public accountant who provides high-quality service to health care organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, foundations, and other health-related, not-for-profit organizations. He spends 100% of his time in the health care industry, which allows him to clearly focus his energies, professional education, and skill development for the direct benefit of his clients. Paul’s primary focus is planning, conducting, and overseeing financial statement audits of health care organizations. In addition, he provides reimbursement and operational assistance, including preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and optimization of reimbursement, to health care clients of all sizes.

Paul has significant experience conducting financial statement audits for health care organizations. This, coupled with his strong communication skills, allows him to build mutual trust with clients.  His clients range in size from small rural health care facilities to large organizations with annual net patient service revenue in excess of $2 billion. Paul’s goal is to consistently exceed client expectations while meeting their needs related to reporting, reimbursement, and operational issues.


 

Andrew McCabe is a senior manager in Wipfli’s health care practice. He provides high-quality service to health care organizations including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, foundations, and other health-related, not-for-profit organizations. Andrew spends 100 percent of his time in the health care industry, which allows him to clearly concentrate his energies, professional education, and skill development for the direct benefit of his clients. His primary focus is on planning, conducting, and overseeing financial statement audits. In addition, Andrew provides reimbursement and operational assistance, including preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports and optimization of reimbursement, to health care clients of all sizes.
