For the 10th year in a row, Worker’s Compensation insurance premium rates have decreased. Wisconsin employers will pay, on average, 3.2% less in worker’s compensation insurance premium rates starting October 1, 2025.
Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner Nathan Houdek applauded the news, saying, "Employers doing business in Wisconsin can count on our competitive insurance marketplace for affordable, high-quality workers compensation coverage to keep their business and employees safe.”
Wisconsin created the first worker’s compensation program in the country. Today, Wisconsin’s Worker’s Compensation program continues to produce nation-leading return to work statistics, low litigation rates, high patient satisfaction and low medical care utilization—all while costs to business continue to fall. This is yet another sign that our Worker’s Compensation program is working well.
