Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital Supports Kinship of Tomahawk
Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital supported Kinship of Tomahawk to further their mission of fostering meaningful mentoring relationships and providing positive opportunities for local youth. Kinship of Tomahawk has been a vital resource in the community for nearly three decades, connecting children with caring adult mentors who provide guidance, encouragement, and stability. Through one-on-one matches and group programming, Kinship helps young people build confidence, develop life skills, and create strong connections that last a lifetime.
In addition to Community Based Mentoring, programs such as tutoring, Lunch Buddies, KinsKlub, and Kinship4Teens provide consistent support for children and families throughout the greater Tomahawk area. This investment aligns with Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital’s commitment to strengthening the overall well-being of the communities we serve. By supporting organizations like Kinship, Aspirus helps address important health priorities such as youth development, mental wellness, and social connectedness — all of which play a critical role in creating healthier futures. Strong relationships and supportive environments are essential for healthy growth and development in children. In addition to ongoing mentoring programs, Kinship is also working on an exciting new chapter — the renovation of the historic Bradley Bank building into a dedicated space for youth and family programming. This future home will provide expanded opportunities for mentoring, enrichment activities, and community engagement.
Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important work and encourages others to learn more about Kinship of Tomahawk, whether through volunteering, fundraising support, or spreading awareness of their mission. Together, we can ensure brighter futures for the next generation.
