Caring for Wisconsin’s Caregivers: Advancing Health Workforce Well-Being Initiative Launches Nov. 19

Caring for Caregivers logoWisconsin’s health care workforce faces growing challenges, including rising patient complexity and a shrinking pipeline of professionals. Despite this, the state has made meaningful strides in workforce well-being and retention. Join us for an overview that explores strategic partnerships and initiatives, including the Caring for Wisconsin’s Caregivers Program and the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Landmark Initiative, while learning how the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes' Foundation is helping shape a multi-phase approach to support caregiver well-being.

The initiative will roll out in three phases:

  1. Credentialing & Licensing Reform – Removing barriers so health care professionals can access timely, stigma-free mental health support.
  2. Leader Education – Equipping leaders with systems-based strategies.
  3. Learning Collaboratives – Facilitating collaboration and shared learning.
